Santa bring you a new ride? Perhaps the bike has been sitting in the garage? Let's dust it off and get back to riding! The Sprockids San Diego maintenance clinic is here to help you.
Young riders and parents will work 1 on 1, in an outdoor environment, with Sprockids San Diego's community leaders and mechanics. This will be an active learning experience for kids to work hands on with their bike. They will learn about the ABC's of how to conduct a proper pre-ride bike check, how to lube a chain, check and adjust tire pressure and identify components that need tightening or adjustment. We will teach and help with bike fit as it relates to brake and shift lever positioning, seat height and more.
Your rider will have 20 minutes of instruction with their mechanic and we will be reaching out to schedule a specific time, within the scheduled event time, for you to come and learn with us.
We are happy to address minor maintenance items during the clinic such as tube or tire replacement and minor shifting or braking adjustments. If the fix will require parts please bring the parts with you.
